One of the most concrete aims in our remedy thread is pursuing lawful international avenues — including an application to the International Criminal Court. Because this gets misunderstood, here is the plain version.
What it is
It is a lawful, peaceful effort to seek international recognition and remedy. Adding your name is a way of saying, on the record, that you stand with the call for reform and want the matter examined through proper channels.
What adding your name does
It adds your voice to a collective call and helps the Association demonstrate the breadth of support behind it. It is a signature on a petition and a step into a community — nothing more dramatic, and nothing that obliges you to do anything unlawful.
What it is not
It is not a magic switch, not a guarantee of any outcome, and not legal advice. International legal processes are complex, slow, and uncertain, and reasonable people disagree about their prospects. We pursue this avenue in good faith and within the law, and we are honest about the uncertainty.
This explains the Association's aim and is not legal advice or a prediction of any legal outcome. International legal processes are complex and uncertain.
